Description
Araldite Two-Part Epoxy Adhesive delivers maximum strength bonding for a wide range of materials. The mixed product gels in 2 hours, achieves initial bonding within 6–8 hours, and reaches full strength after 3 days.
Features
- Chemical reaction of the two parts provides superior strength
- Bonds a wide variety of surfaces
- Dries clear for a clean finish
- Extremely strong and durable
- Highly water resistant – suitable for fixing tiles around pools (not below the waterline)
- Forms a rigid, long-lasting bond
- Fills small gaps – surfaces do not need to fit perfectly
- Excellent chemical and heat resistance
- Clamping recommended for a stronger bond
- Not suitable for Polypropylene or Polyethylene plastics
- Bond strength weakens above 80°C but recovers when cooled
Appearance
Translucent

Directions for Use
- Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry, and free of grease, rust, and paint.
- For best results, roughen smooth surfaces after cleaning.
- Dispense equal parts of Part A and Part B onto a clean, disposable surface (e.g. polyethylene or cardboard).
- Mix thoroughly using a spatula, nail, or stick.
- Apply immediately to both surfaces and press together. Clamp for 6–8 hours while the bond sets.
- Remove excess adhesive and clean tools immediately.
- Replace the correct caps on each tube to prevent hardening.
Handy Tips
- Mix in small quantities for maximum working time – larger mixes cure faster.
- Replace caps immediately after use and wipe nozzles with acetone or nail polish remover.
- Do not swap caps between tubes – lids and tubes are colour coded.
- Uncured Araldite can be wiped off with acetone or nail polish remover.
- Once cured, remove mechanically by scraping or sanding – solvents will not dissolve it.
- To reposition a cured bond, heat gradually to 150°C (if the item is heat resistant), reposition, and allow to cool.
- For surface prep: use Selleys Liquid Sugar Soap on porous materials, or Methylated Spirits on non-porous surfaces. Use Selleys Kwik Strip Smart to remove tough residues if needed.
Safety Tips
- Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
- Avoid breathing vapours.
- Do not use solvents near eyes or open wounds.
- In case of eye contact, rinse with water for at least 15 minutes and seek medical advice.
- Non-toxic once fully cured. Refer to the Material Safety Data Sheet for more details.
Storage & Reuse
Ensure caps are replaced tightly after use and store in a cool, dry place.
