    Silicone 401 RTV is a one part ready to use, acid cure, room temperature vulcanising (RTV), silicone adhesive sealant. It cures rapidly on exposure to atmospheric moisture to form a versatile, durable, resilient silicone rubber. It is available in clear. Uses Silicone 401 is suitable for form-in-place gaskets and for adhesive, sealing and electrical insulating applications in manufacturing and plant maintenance. Selleys Seal Fix cures to a tough durable silicone rubber, and is ideal for repairing or replacing worn our seals in domestic ovens, fridges and freezer doors, as well as automotive and appliance gaskets. Seal fix is resistant to chemicals, oil, water, detergent etc. It is safe for incidental contact with food. Where can this product be used? -Replacing oven door seals -Replacing refrigerator door seals -Dishwasher door seals -Washing machines -Automotive gaskets and seals -Heating and air conditioners -Flanges of all kinds What materials is this product suitable for? -Metal* -Paint/coated surfaces -Glass -Fibreglass How to use this product -Clear surfaces with Selleys BBQ Tough Wipes or Oven Wipes and allow to dry. -Pierce tube seal, fit nozzle and cut to size. -For repair or replacement of oven door seal or oven door glass: Apply Seal Fix to repair or replace seal or glass. -Once the seal or oven glass is fixed in place the repair should be allowed to cure for 7 days before using the oven. -For repair or replacement of refrigerator door seal: Apply Seal Fix to door, bring surfaces together and close door. -Once the seal is glued in place the door needs to be held firmly closed with tape. -Due to the strong magnetic hold of the door seal to the refrigerator body, the repair must be allowed 24 hours to cure before opening the door or subjecting to any stress   For repair or replacement of gaskets: -Remove old gasket/seal material and thoroughly clean surfaces with mineral turpentine and dry. If adhesion of gasket is not required wipe mating surfaces with an oily cloth. -Pierce seal in the tube, fit nozzle and cut to size. Squeeze the bead of sealant onto one of the surfaces to be joined, around the perimeter of the part and around bolt holes. -Join parts together within 10 minutes and bolt down to the desired torque. If a thicker gasket is required assemble but do not tighten bolts for 24 hours. Material cures in 24 hours. (When disassembly is required, pry two flanges apart and remove old sealant before reassembly.) Clean Up -Uncured product may be removed with mineral turpentine. Cured product can be removed with Selleys Silicone Remover or by mechanical action. Handy tips -When eliminating cork gaskets, ensure that adequate clearance remains for mechanical parts e.g. valve rocker covers (do not fully tighten until sealant has cured) Limitations *Not for copper brass or galvanised metal surfaces **Not suitable for continuous exposure to temperatures above 205°C or intermittent (more than 2 hours) expose to temperatures above 260°C Not for exhaust manifold or for contact with gasoline or distillate Safety tips -Avoid contact with skin and eyes and breathing vapour -On contact, the uncured sealant can irritate eyes. Before starting, make sure your work area is protected from accidental spills. Surfaces must be clean, dry and free of grease and oil. 2. Roughen smooth surfaces to be repaired with sandpaper. 3. Apply in ventilated area. Vapors may irritate eyes and nose. 4. Squeeze out equal amounts of bonding agent and curing agent. 5. Mix together thoroughly until color is uniform. 6. Apply immediately to both surfaces and press together. Remove excess glue at once. 7. Allow bond to set for 10 minutes before moving or handling. 8. After 24 hours, typical shear strength on steel is 3000 PSI. 9. Cure time will be slower in colder weather. For Cleanup 1. Cleanup must be completed before curing is complete. Use acetone or mineral spirits for cleanup. 2. Clean hands with Permatex Fast Orange hand cleaners. Chemical / Solvent Resistance The product retains effective properties when in contact with water, oil, fuels, and most solvents. Not recommended for long term exposure to chemicals and solvents. NOTE: Permatex Cold Weld Bonding Compound will not bond polyethylene and polypropylene plastics.     This is a two-part, smooth, dark grey paste that cures to form a hard, durable polymer that is extremely thermally conductive, yet electrically insulating. It is it very viscous because it is highly filled with thermally conductive ceramic powders for maximum thermal conductivity. It bonds well to metals, ceramics, glass, and most plastics used in electronic assemblies. It has a convenient 1-to-1 mix ratio and a 4-hour working life. The mixed adhesive can essentially act like a one-part adhesive for the duration of a work shift.     LOCTITE 263 is designed for the permanent locking and sealing of threaded fasteners. The product cures when confined in the absence of air between close fitting metal surfaces and prevents loosening and leakage from shock and vibration. It's particularly suited for heavy duty applications such as studs into motor housings, nuts onto studs in pump housings and other fasteners where high strength is required. LOCTITE 263 provides robust curing performance. It not only works on active metals (e.g. brass, copper) but also on passive substrates such as stainless steel and plated surfaces. The product offers high-temperature performance and oil tolerance. It tolerates minor surface contaminations from various oils, such as cutting, lubrication, anti-corrosion and protection fluids. Recommended on High strength Locks studs against vibration loosening Controlled/torque tension Prevents thread corrosion Fast curing How to use: Step 1: Safety Precautions Keep out of reach of children. Step 2: Preparation Protect work area. Parts to be sealed must be clean and dry. Shake the product thoroughly before use. Note: To prevent the product from clogging in the nozzle, avoid touching the bottle tip to the metal surface. Step 3: Application For Thru Holes: Apply several drops of the product onto the bolt at the nut engagement area. For Blind Holes: Apply several drops of the product down the internal threads to the bottom of the hole.  For Sealing Applications: Apply a 360°bead of product to the leading threads of the male fitting, leaving the first thread free. Force the material into the threads to thoroughly fill the voids. For bigger threads and voids, adjust product amount accordingly and apply a 360°bead of product on the female threads also. Assemble parts and tighten as required. Sets in approximately 10 minutes and fully cures in 24 hours.  Step 4: Cleanup Clean adhesive residue immediately with a damp cloth. Cured product can be removed with a combination of soaking in methylene chloride and mechanical abrasion such as a wire brush.  For disassembly, shear with standard hand tools and remove with methylene chloride. In rare instances where hand tools do not work because of excessive engagement length, apply localized heat to nut or bolt to approximately 250°C. Disassemble while hot. Directions for use: For Assembly 1. For best results, clean all surfaces (external and internal) with a LOCTITE® cleaning solvent and allow to dry 2. If the cure speed is too slow, use appropriate activator. Please see the Cure Speed vs. Activator graph for reference. Allow the activator to dry when needed 3. To prevent the product from clogging in the nozzle, do not allow the tip to touch metal surfaces during application 4. For Thru Holes, apply several drops of the product onto the bolt at the nut engagement area 5. For Blind Holes, apply several drops of the product to the lower third of the internal threads in the blind hole, or the bottom of the blind hole 6. For Sealing Applications, apply a 360° bead of product to the leading threads of the male fitting, leaving the first thread free. For bigger threads and voids, adjust product amount accordingly and apply a 360° bead of product on the female threads also 7. Assemble and tighten as required For Disassembly 1. Apply localized heat to nut or bolt to approximately 250 °C. Disassemble while hot For Cleanup 1. Cured product can be removed with a combination of soaking in a LOCTITE® solvent and mechanical abrasion such as a wire brush

Kwik Grip Advanced can be used as wet bond on absorbent surfaces such as timber, cardboard etc. Contact bonding: 1 Ensure surfaces to be bonded are clean, dry and free from dirt, grease, dust or particles. 2 Using applicator provided with pack, completely cover both surfaces with adhesive and keep surfaces apart until the surface turns from white to clear – approx. 20 minutes. Tip: use dowels or something similar to keep surfaces apart 3 Position the items carefully, still keeping surfaces apart. When edges are perfectly aligned, remove dowels and working from one edge press surfaces firmly together. Note: Grabs IMMEDIATELY on contact. 4 Secure bond by running a roller over the bonded surfaces or by hammering the surface from the centre outwards using a padded block. Maximum Bond strength is achieved after 24 hours. Note: Drying time may be extended in cold and wet weather conditions. Wet bonding: Ensure surfaces to be bonded are clean, dry and free from dirt, grease, dust or particles. Apply to one surface then bring surfaces together and clamp until dry. Clean up application tools and excess adhesive with damp cloth & water before it dries. Handy tips What is a contact adhesive? A contact adhesive is an adhesive that must be applied to two surfaces and allowed to dry before surfaces are joined. Once surfaces are pushed together an instant bond forms. Therefore extended pressure or clamping is unnecessary (*Clamping of warped or curled surfaces may be required) Being Low VOC/low odour this product is much safer for use indoors than most other contact adhesives which tend to be solvent-based.. Can be used on horizontal or vertical surfaces In the event of prolonged open time, Kwik Grip Advanced will continue to give good contact bond for up to 8 hours. What does this mean? This means that once you have applied the adhesive, if you suddenly need to run out to the shops or go and do another job, you can safely come back within 8 hours and join the two surfaces for a great result! Many solvent-based contact adhesives have a much shorter open time limit.
